From time to time we like to profile some of the special people who help out at Friends of the Animals BR. Livi and Sophie are young volunteers who use their hobbies to help animals in Baton Rouge. Chelsea is gorgeous and curious. Maybe some Aussie Shepherd, maybe some Border Collie, Chelsea has a lush coat and some workin' dog skills. Jacob is so sweet and is just a baby at 5 months. He's coming into his own as a houndy-style dog. Give him a toy and he's good to go. We want to get Jacob a forever home, but he's also a great example of a dog that needs a foster (hint!) January is the Month of the Foster at Friends of the Animals BR! Donna is the Foster Recruiter at FOTA and she joins us on the Pawcast to tell everyone about how to foster at FOTA, what fosters do, what fosters DON'T do, why we have a fostering program, how you can help.
